Jasmine believes that yoga and energy work are powerful aides in wellness and self-care. These practices have been an essential part of her life. They have helped her grow as a person, informed how she interacts with the world, and broadened her perspective.
One reason she loves yoga is that it provides infinite opportunities for learning. Jasmine has a Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts from Sarah Lawrence College. Her love of travel and culture lead her to focus her studies in anthropology. It was during this same time that she was introduced to yoga. Through yoga she discovered Ayurveda, a form of natural medicine and self-care. Once she was on the path, she could not help but walk it.
After over 10 years of her own yoga practice, she was called to teach. In 2019, she received her 200hr certification in Hatha yoga from 7 Centers in Sedona, AZ. She immediately went back to the same school for her 300hr teacher training. The program looked at how yoga works with the systems of the body and the relationship between yoga and Ayurveda.
In fall of 2021 Jasmine pursued her Reiki training. Initially, she trained in Reiki as a way to find balance as an empath and yoga instruction. Reiki is now part of her self-care routine; a way to remain grounded and centered. Energy work became a natural extension of the work she does with yoga.
While in Vermont, Jasmine was introduced to Kambal Yoga®. It is a form of restorative yoga that uses weighted blankets, energy work, and Yoga Nidra. All modalities she loves! She was trained in Kambal Yoga® in June 2023.
Being a naturally curious explorer, she has studied and practiced different styles of yoga, meditation, and energy work. When she meets with clients she discusses their needs and goals. Together they make an individualized practice plan; it may include yoga poses, breathing techniques, meditation, and Reiki. Work with Jasmine to receive the full benefits of yoga: physical fitness, mental acuity, and emotional balance. Get even more out of your experience by finding deep relaxation with Reiki.
In her group classes and workshops, she creates a space where students can connect with themselves, ground, and feel revived. Each is designed with specific benefits that to contribute to over all well being. Her classes create an environment where people can do yoga in a way that fits their individual selves. Jasmine encourages people to approach their practice with curiosity and to meet themselves in the moment.
Stand in power. Walk your path.
